With over 25 years in the hire industry, they are proud to provide high-quality elevated work platforms (EWPs), scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts across Brisbane and beyond. They are now seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Technician (1st to 4th year) to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a self-driven individual who takes pride in their workmanship. You will learn the knowledge, skills and applications required to begin a career as an EWP Technician / Field Service Technician. The Position… In this position, you will focus on ensuring all maintenance requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner. You will be working with an experienced team that has extensive knowledge and expertise in the maintenance and servicing of medium-sized machinery. You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously with good problem-solving skills. Responsibilities for this position include: Ensure a smooth effective day-to-day operation of the business. Respond to customer breakdowns and requirements as a matter of urgency. Liaise with external contractors to ensure any repair work required on machinery is actioned. Create positive relationships between clients, suppliers, and employees. Ensure all guidelines are being met in relation to the maintenance of equipment. The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate will have the following: Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Heavy Diesel Mechanical Technology (or similar); 1st to 4th year apprentices are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of access equipment (advantageous but not essential). Is a logical thinker. Ability to problem solve. Good organisational skills. Highly efficient and a high achiever.
